Fred Mooney, LPC, Approved EMDRIA Consultant

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of counseling experience in both mental health and private practice settings. I have also taught students with severe emotional challenges for 37 years and am very familiar with the 504 and IEP processes. My Bachelors Degree in Special Education was earned at Kent State University; my Master Degree in Diagnosis and Prescription of the Handicapped in the Educational Setting was earned at Case Western Reserve University; and my Masters Degree in Community Counseling was earned at Kent State University. I have also held Adjunct Faculty status at the Kent State University’s Counseling and Human Services Department and at Cleveland State University’s Department of Education.

Barbara Mooney, LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years experience in counseling adults. I have a Bachelors Degree of Science in Nursing that was earned at Kent State University. My Masters Degree in Community Counseling and post-masters academic study was completed at Kent State University. I have worked as a Registered Nurse in various facilities in the Cleveland, Ohio area including the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. I have also had Adjunct faculty status at Case Western Reserve University School Of Nursing.

Brigid Mooney, LCSW

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) working in the field since 2008. I graduated from DePauw University with my Bachelor of Arts in 2003. After living abroad a year in South America, I attended the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. I graduated in 2008 with my Masters of Social Work. The majority of my work has been in medical hospital settings, and I became a Spanish Language Medical Interpreter in 2011. I am able to provide services in both English and Spanish.
